The NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing is a highly regarded qualification which is approved by the General Dental Council as a preparation for trainee Dental Nurses to enter the dental profession.
It provides the foundations of dental nursing and enables trainees to demonstrate the highest standards in terms of knowledge, skills and professional attributes.

a traditional classroom based course in small groups (maximum 15) held normally twice a month over one year at our centre in West London.
£1490 (excluding non-refundable registration and NEBDN examination fee) payable by instalments.

b- Initial course fee: £390 and 5 monthly instalments of £220
c- NEBDN Examination fee: £485 payable at the start of the work placement
There are no formal entry qualifications but students are expected to be educated to a good GCSE level or equivalent and have a satisfactory command of English language. Students are not admitted under the age of 16 for online delivery and 18 for face-to-face (on campus) courses.
The course covers the new NEBDN syllabus and includes areas of knowledge that a dental nurse needs to develop in order to be able to practice competently. These include:
The course also provides extensive preparation for the practical part of the exam Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), and supports students with preparing the required Record of Experience.
The course consists of theoretical training either provided online through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), or in traditional face-to-face classes which are normally held fortnightly at our Acton or Reading centres.
After completing the course, you can progress onto post-registration qualifications in radiography, oral health education, sedation nursing, implant nursing, orthodontic nursing, and fluoride application.
You can also use the course as entry to a number of higher education courses, including foundation and bachelor’s degrees.
